For your safety, always unplug the dryer from the electrical outlet before beginning any repairs.
Pull the lint screen out of its housing. Then, using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws located inside the lint screen slot.
Insert a putty knife into the seam between the top and front panels to release the two spring clips holding the top down. Push in on the putty knife to disengage each clip.

Lift the top panel and hinge it back. Locate the door switch wire harness on the right side and disconnect it by pressing the locking tab.

Remove the two screws at the top of the front panel. With the screws removed, you can lift the entire front panel up and off the retaining clips at the bottom, then set it aside.

Reach inside the dryer to the motor and idler pulley assembly. Push the idler pulley to the right to release the tension on the drive belt, then unthread the belt from the pulley and motor shaft.

Use the loosened drive belt as a handle to lift the drum up and out of the dryer cabinet.

Locate the igniter on the burner tube assembly. Disconnect its wire harness from the main harness.

Using a quarter-inch nut driver or socket, loosen the mounting screw holding the igniter in place. Slide the old igniter out of its bracket.

Handle the new igniter carefully, avoiding any contact with the gray element. Slide the new igniter into the mounting bracket and secure it by tightening the mounting screw.

Plug the new igniter's wire harness back into the main harness connector until it clicks into place.

Position the drum back inside the dryer cabinet, resting the rear rim on the two support rollers.

From underneath, loop the belt around the motor shaft and the idler pulley in a zig-zag formation. The grooved side of the belt should face the drum, and the flat side should contact the idler pulley.

Rotate the drum by hand to ensure the belt is properly aligned. Then, reinstall the front panel by hooking it onto the bottom retaining clips and aligning the drum with the front seal.

Reinstall the two screws at the top of the front panel to secure it. Next, reconnect the door switch wire harness.

Lower the main top panel and press down firmly on the front corners to snap the spring clips back into place.

Secure the top panel by reinstalling the two screws in the lint screen housing. Once the screws are tight, slide the lint screen back into place.

Plug the dryer's power cord back into the wall outlet. Your repair is now complete, and you can test the dryer to ensure it is heating properly.
Based on customer reports and repair data, this part commonly fixes these issues:
The igniter uses heat to ignite the gas in the burner assembly. If the igniter is not working, the gas will not ignite, preventing the dryer from heating. To determine if the igniter has burned out, use a multimeter to test the igniter for continuity. If the igniter does not have continuity, replace it.
