Range vent hood doesn't vent to the outside

Filter effectively with this genuine OEM filter, part number M48D10, made for select Amana, Litton, or Simplicity Range Vent Hood, Range/Stove/Oven, or Lawn Mowers.

If the range hood is not venting correctly inspect the filters to confirm they are clean. A dirty grease filter can be cleaned by removing it and soaking it in a degreasing solution until the grease is dissolved. Next, wash it with warm, soapy water to remove any traces of the degreaser. A clogged air filter, charcoal filter, or a damaged grease filter should be replaced with a new one.

The filters in the range hood need to be clean to have good air flow. If the filters are clogged, the blower will have a hard time moving air and the motor can overheat. Inspect the filter and clean or replace them if necessary.
