Fasten components securely with this clip, part number 045290-01, made for select Amana, Maytag, Admiral, Jenn Air, Magic Chef, Norge, or Hardwick Freezer or Refrigerator.

Some refrigerator ice makers are secured with clips. If one or more of the clips break, the ice maker may become dislodged and start to overflow. If the ice maker assembly is not sitting flush against the wall, purchase a new clip or clips to secure and seal.

Refrigerator has frost or ice buildup

A clip may be used to secure a damper assembly to an interior wall. If the clip is broken and no longer securing the damper, excessive cold air may be entering the refrigerator compartment and causing ice buildup. If the damper assembly is not sitting flush against the wall, purchase a new clip to secure and seal.
