Step-By-Step Instructions1
As with any repair, be sure to turn off the power to your dishwasher before beginning.
2
To make it easier to access the turbidity sensor, we recommend removing the outer door panel.
3
To do this, remove the screws from inside the door which secure the outer panel.
4
With the screws removed, pull the panel down then lift it up and out.
5
Now rotate the lower access panel fasteners counter-clockwise to remove then pull out the access panel and sound dampening pad.
6
Reach under the dishwasher and rotate the old turbidity sensor counter-clockwise to detach it from the sump assembly.
7
Depress the tab to disconnect the wire harness and remove the old sensor.
8
Install the new turbidity sensor by first connecting the wire harness then align the tabs on the sensor with the slots in the sump assembly and rotate the sensor clockwise to lock it into place.
9
Reposition the lower access panel and sound dampening pad then secure the panel with the fasteners.
10
Reinstall the outer door panel by first aligning it on the door hinges then slide the panel up and reinstall the screws in the inner panel to secure.
11
You’re now ready to restore power to the dishwasher and confirm that it’s working properly.
