Power up repairs with this genuine OEM control board, part number 00264492, for select Bosch or Gaggenau Range Vent Hood models.

If none of the touchpad buttons are working, then it's possible the range vent hood's control board is defective. However, control boards are often misdiagnosed—before replacing the control board, first check all of the more commonly defective parts.

Range vent hood lights not working

The control board might be defective. Before replacing the control board, first replace the light bulb. If the lights still aren’t working, check the bulb sockets as well as the switches associated with the bulb. If the light bulb, socket, and switches are not defective, replace the control board. Control boards are often misdiagnosed—before replacing the board, make sure you check more commonly defective parts.

If you've determined the thermal fuse has not blown and the control board is receiving proper voltage, then it's possible the range vent hood's control board is defective. However, control boards are often misdiagnosed—before replacing the control board, first check all of the more commonly defective parts.

Range vent hood touchpad doesn't work

Most range vent hood control boards have the buttons attached to the board. If you've determined that power is reaching the board, then it's likely the control board is defective and will need to be replaced. If there is a separate touchpad, it would be a good idea to replace both the control board and touchpad at the same time.

Range vent hood turning on by itself

The control board has relays that send power to the fan and lights. If the contacts in the relays become burnt, or the board is shorting out, they may make contact intermittently. If the fan or lights are turning off and on the control board may be bad.
