Dishrack Roller

Dishwasher upper rack adjuster kit. This kit includes both left and right side adjusters and all components needed to service the upper rack. The part has changed from plastic to metal. So it will look different than the original part. Instructions available online at Servicematters.com.

Electric stove burner not working

First, make sure that the element is pushed all the way into the socket. Second, inspect the surface element for damage. If the element appears to be damaged, replace it. Lastly, use a multimeter to test the surface element for continuity. If the surface element does not have continuity, replace it. 

Electric stove burner won't turn off

Sometimes, when the surface element is shorted out, it is visibly damaged. Inspect the surface element for damage. If the element is damaged, replace it. To determine if the element has shorted out, use a multimeter to test the element for continuity. If the coil surface element does not have continuity, replace it.

Range making a loud noise

If the coil element has shorted out it can make a popping or buzzing noise and will be visibly damaged. Inspect the coil surface element for holes or blisters. To determine if the coil surface element is shorted out, use a multimeter to test the element for continuity. If the element shows continuity from the terminals to the outer case, this indicates that it is shorted out. If the coil surface element is shorted out, replace it.

Electric stove burner temperature is erratic

A damaged coil surface element may only be working intermittently. First, make sure that the element is pushed all the way into the socket. Second, inspect the surface element for damage. If the element appears to be damaged, replace it. Lastly, use a multimeter to test the surface element for electrical continuity. If the surface element does not have continuity or only intermittent continuity, replace it.
