The GE Appliances Check Valve Piston WD24X10018 prevents water from flowing back into the tub and fits inside the check valve body. It is recommended to use safety equipment and disconnect the appliance before any repair. Consult the owner's manual for part numbers and repair instructions.

The check valve prevents water from returning to the dishwasher after it has drained. If the valve gets stuck closed, it will prevent the water from draining. If the check valve is stuck closed, try cleaning it out and then replace it if necessary.
